Amar is our Women & Girls Liaison Officer and is part of the Leadership Team within the Umpire Group and is responsible for creating inclusive and safe environments for all female umpires. 

The liaison role is aimed at Increasing visibility and representation of Women & Girls in the group. Amar will be helping support new umpire recruits during their transition into the umpire group.

Being a voice for Women & Girls and to raise any concerns to committee and board members, we encourage all Women and girls involved in umpiring to reach out to Amar for any feedback or concerns they may have. 

By Connecting with the Women & Girls Umpire Liaisons online across Victoria (as well as

nationally during key PD events), Amar’s role is aimed at Improving the overall experience and retention of umpires by engaging umpires in initiatives and providing feedback to the EDFL and AFL.
